Job summary

Puriti Naturals is seeking a fragrance scientist to create original fragrance compositions for perfumes, cosmetics, incense, and household products. You will collaborate with fragrance developers and marketing teams to meet briefs while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.

The role involves stability testing, material sourcing, fragrance library maintenance, and sensory evaluation, with emphasis on innovation and sustainable ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Create original fragrance compositions for perfumes, cosmetics, incense, and household products.
• Maintain a deep understanding of olfactory families and raw materials.
• Collaborate with fragrance developers and marketing teams to meet product briefs.
• Conduct stability and burn tests to ensure fragrance performance.
• Innovate with new aroma chemicals and sustainable ingredients.
• Document formulas and maintain fragrance libraries.
• Market research to identify consumer trends and preferences.
• Partner with perfumers to translate briefs into fragrance concepts.
• Conduct fragrance evaluations and sensory testing.
• Work with suppliers to source raw materials and aroma chemicals.
• Ensure compliance with IFRA standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with packaging and branding teams to align fragrance with product identity.
• Manage timelines and budgets for fragrance projects.
• Create a range of perfume and fragrances on commercial scale for to be used by different industries.
