Job summary

Quess IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Performance Testing Lead to drive end‑to‑end performance initiatives across applications, databases, and infrastructure. You will spearhead automation, optimize bottlenecks, and mentor a large team of engineers in a fast‑paced environment.

You will collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and business units to ensure scalable, reliable performance and contribute to CI/CD adoption, cloud readiness, and cross‑region testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Define performance testing strategies, NFRs, KPIs, SLAs, and workload models.
• Lead performance automation using LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, BlazeMeter, or Gatling.
• Review scripts, test coverage, execution plans, and performance results.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive tuning across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
• Lead and mentor 25 performance engineers.
• Support capacity planning, scalability, cloud, and multi-region performance testing.
• Drive CI/CD integration, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Present performance risks, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 10–14 years of performance testing/engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in at least 2 performance testing tools.
• Experience with APM/monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Strong knowledge of databases, web technologies, APIs, networking, and AWS/Azure/GCP.
• SAP performance testing experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with CI/CD, microservices, API performance, and service virtualization.
• Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications

• Mandatory: 1 performance/testing tool certification + 1 domain certification.
• Preferred: ISTQB or equivalent performance/testing certification.

Preferred Domain Experience

FinTech, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, SAP/ERP, Retail, or Energy.
