Job summary

Datamatics in Mumbai seeks an experienced Performance Test Lead to drive end-to-end performance testing, ensuring application scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.

You will define KPIs, workload models, and SLAs; develop tests with JMeter, K6, and LoadRunner; conduct load, stress, and endurance tests; analyze results, propose optimizations, and mentor junior testers while integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Lead to drive end-to-end performance testing and ensure application scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead performance testing strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Define KPIs, workload models, benchmarks, and SLAs.
• Develop and execute performance tests using JMeter, K6, and LoadRunner.
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
• Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning/RCA recommendations.
• Collaborate with Developers, DBAs, and Architects to resolve performance issues.
• Integrate performance testing with CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior performance testers and ensure test coverage.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter, K6, and LoadRunner (VuGen & Controller).
• Experience in API, web, and database performance testing, including scripting and parameterization.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, REST APIs, SQL, JVM, CPU/Memory, and server metrics.
• Experience with Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Good understanding of Jenkins/GitLab CI and performance testing automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
