Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Performance Tester (JMeter) to join our QA team. This role involves planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience with JMeter, performance tuning, and monitoring tools, preferably in the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, and stress tests using tools such as Apache JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for performance tuning and improvements.
- Monitor application performance using cloud monitoring tools (e.g., GCP, Azure Monitor, etc.).
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to identify bottlenecks and scalability issues.
- Work closely with stakeholders in the banking domain, especially in areas like Core Banking and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
- Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test scripts, and results.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in performance testing, with at least 4 years of hands‑on experience using JMeter.
- Familiarity with other performance testing tools such as LoadRunner is a plus.
- Proficient in analyzing logs, identifying performance issues, and providing actionable insights.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms and monitoring tools such as GCP, Azure, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Mandatory experience in the banking domain, including Core Banking or LOS platforms.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Certifications in performance testing or cloud technologies.
- Understanding of performance testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with automation frameworks and test management tools.
