Job summary

Capgemini in Pune is seeking a Performance Testing Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to identify non-functional requirements, derive NFR stats, and design test scenarios for web, API, and mobile solutions.

You will use JMeter and LoadRunner for load testing, monitor with AppDynamics and Grafana, and create detailed test plans and reports for stakeholders.

Proficiency with Postman, Selenium, Jenkins, and GitLab is desirable, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Identify and gather necessary non-functional requirements.
• Derive NFR based stats from discussions with business & architects.
• Create test scenarios for Peak, Soak, Stress and advanced types (spike, scalability).
• Perform performance testing for on-premises and cloud-based solutions across web, client, and mobile.
• Hands-on with test estimation, test data setup and defect management.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication.

Must Have Skills

• Candidate should be able to identify and gather necessary non-functional requirements
• Should be able to derive the NFR based stats on the basis of discussion with Business & Architects.
• Knowledge on scenario creation for basic types (Peak , Soak , Stress) & advance types (spike , scalability etc.) of performance tests
• Extensive knowledge and experience with JMeter (API) , LoadRunner (UI) , HPP to conduct performance testing.
• Experience in monitoring using Appd /Graphana tools
• Working knowledge on tools like Postman for API & able to understand end points /payloads etc
• Provide well-written documentation, including performance test plans and test summary reports, to stakeholders with details of test carried out & their results.
• Conduct performance testing for on-premises and cloud-based software solutions that consist of web, client, and mobile technologies to ensure they meet desired performance standards under specified user loads.
• Hands on experience in Test Estimation, Test Data Setup and Defect Management.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Jenkins, or GitLab etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good written and oral communication skills.
