Job summary

Aspire Systems in Chennai/Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to lead performance testing across complex applications. You will define strategies, design workload models, and drive execution to ensure scalability and reliability.

The role requires 3-8 years in performance testing, proficiency with tools like Dynatrace, PerfMon, and Load Runner, and a strong SDLC background to communicate findings effectively.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in performance testing or related field.
• Proficiency in at least one industry-standard tool such as Dynatrace, PerfMon, Load Runner.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) including design patterns, algorithms, data structures etc.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and define performance testing objectives, scope, workload, and success criteria.
• Develop the Performance Test Strategy and Performance Test Plan, covering timelines, resources, environments, tools, monitoring requirements, test data, and execution approach.
• Design workload models and performance test scenarios covering key business transactions, expected user loads, peak volumes, scalability, stability, and capacity requirements.
• Define test data requirements and coordinate with technical teams to ensure performance test environments, configurations, monitoring tools, and infrastructure are ready for execution.
• Plan and execute performance tests, monitor application and infrastructure metrics, analyze results, and identify bottlenecks, performance risks, and scalability constraints.
• Prepare detailed execution reports, technical and performance metrics, defect reports, recommendations, and the final Performance Test Summary Report, ensuring findings are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
• Support release readiness and performance sign-off by providing recommendations and risk assessments, while mentoring team members and driving performance testing best practices and continuous improvements.
