Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Chennai is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to design, develop and execute performance tests across APIs and applications. You will use LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, and Dynatrace to simulate load, identify bottlenecks, and work with development and infra teams to optimize performance; Azure networking components may be involved.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, strong SQL skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in performance testing.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design realistic load models.
• Perform end-to-end API performance testing and identify bottlenecks.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate test data and troubleshoot issues.
• Utilize Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools during tests.
• Analyze results and generate performance test reports with findings.
• Participate in performance tuning across application and database layers.
• Design and implement Azure networking solutions including VNets, NSGs, App Gateways, and Load Balancers.
