Job summary

WillwareTechnologies is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our onsite team in India. You will design, execute, and optimize performance tests for complex web applications, focusing on NeoLoad, Dynatrace, Splunk, and SQL-driven analysis to deliver reliable, scalable software.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on performance testing experience, strong debugging skills, and collaboration with development and CI/CD teams to embed performance into the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing/Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with NeoLoad is mandatory.
• Experience with Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Strong SQL querying skills.
• CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins and Git.
• Familiarity with JIRA/Zephyr or similar test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests using NeoLoad.
• Analyze results and identify bottlenecks.
• Perform root cause analysis with Dynatrace, Splunk, and profilers.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement improvements.
• Develop backend data validation queries for performance analysis.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with expertise in NeoLoad, performance engineering, and application performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests, identifying bottlenecks, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with development teams to optimize application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using NeoLoad.
• Analyze performance test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Perform root cause analysis using Dynatrace, Splunk, Java VisualVM, and Profiler.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement performance improvements.
• Develop SQL queries for backend data validation and performance analysis.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Conduct capacity planning, resiliency testing, and provide performance recommendations.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing/Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with NeoLoad (mandatory).
• Experience with Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience in performance tuning and root cause analysis.
• Strong SQL querying skills.

• Good understanding of application architecture and web technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Chaos Engineering, Resiliency Testing, and Observability.

Education
