Job summary

Dentsu in Bengaluru seeks a senior marketplace advertising professional to lead end-to-end campaigns across Flipkart, Amazon, and other platforms. You will guide strategy, review execution, and manage a team of 5–10, turning data into performance narratives.

The role requires deep expertise in paid media, strong client communication, and project management, with hands-on experience using Google Ads, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, and marketplace tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in paid media across Search, Shopping, Programmatic, or Marketplace Ads.
• Experience managing campaigns on marketplace platforms like Flipkart or Amazon is preferred.
• Strong ability to translate data into performance narratives and present to clients/leadership.

Deep expertise in at least one paid media channel - Search, Shopping, Programmatic, or Marketplace Ads - with the ability to guide strategy and review execution across all. Experience managing campaigns on Flipkart Ads, Amazon Sponsored Ads, or similar marketplace advertising platforms is a strong differentiator and highly preferred. Proficiency with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4 - and comfort with marketplace-specific tools (Helium 10, Amazon Pi, or Flipkart's own campaign manager). Proven ability to manage a team of 5-10 people - Pod Leads, Executives, and Analysts - and hold them to outcomes. Strong analytical mindset: comfortable building performance narratives from data, not just pulling dashboards. Clear, confident communicator - with clients in Business Reviews and with leadership in programme updates. Strong project management instincts: you can track multiple workstreams, spot risk early, and drive resolution without waiting to be told.

What Sets You Apart

You have run end-to-end marketplace advertising - from seller onboarding through campaign activation and performance review. You have managed large advertising spends (₹1 Cr+ per month) and know how to keep pacing, quality, and ROI in balance simultaneously. You have built programmes or processes from scratch - scrums, reviews, SOPs - not just inherited them. You think in seller outcomes, not just campaign metrics. You know that a healthy seller business drives healthy ad spend. You are comfortable being the "accountability anchor" - the person the team comes to when things are stuck, and the person leadership comes to when they need a clear picture.
