Job summary

Persistent Systems in Pune (India) seeks a seasoned PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant to optimize grants management and project costing processes. You will analyze requirements, design functional solutions, and support system enhancements across FSCM modules.

You’ll collaborate with Finance and IT, manage PUM upgrades, testing cycles, data conversions, and critical close activities, while delivering reliable, compliant financial operations in a hybrid Pune-based role.

Qualifications

• Strong FSCM Grants Management and Project Costing expertise.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with PUM upgrades and regression testing.
• Knowledge of Grants lifecycle, budgeting, and cost management.
• Experience creating design documents and technical specs.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Query, Security, Workflow, and Integration Broker.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Functional SME for PeopleSoft FSCM Grants and Project Costing modules.
• Analyze business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Design functional solutions and prepare functional specifications for technical development teams.
• Configure, test, and deploy enhancements across FSCM applications.
• Support PUM upgrades, patches, regulatory updates, and application enhancements.
• Conduct SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Finance, Grants Management, Project Accounting, and technical teams.
• Support integrations, data conversion, reporting, and interface requirements.
• Provide off-hours support during critical grants processing, month-end, or financial close activities.

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant to support and enhance PeopleSoft FSCM applications with a focus on Grants Management and Project Costing. The role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing functional solutions, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of critical grants and financial operations.
