Job summary

Ascenten is seeking an experienced PCB design engineer to join our electronics team in India. You will handle schematic design, high-density multi-layer PCB layouts, and Gerber generation for industrial electronics.

Candidate should have 3–8 years of PCB design experience, strong analog/mixed-signal knowledge, and proficiency with Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, and other major EDA tools. Independent work and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of experience in PCB design and development.
• B.Tech/B.E in Electronics or related fields is required.
• Experience in GERBER generation, schematic verification, and PCB layout.

Responsibilities

• Product characterization & specification development.

Job Summary

Experience: 3 to 8 years. Qualification: B.Tech/B.E degree in Electronic / Electronics & Communication / Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / Power Electronics. Skill: Experience in PCB design, verification, and assembly; Experience in schematic design, verification, and modification; Industrial product design & development experience (preferred); EMI/EMC compliance and intrinsically safe design experience; Expertise in high-density, multi-layer PCB design (SMD & complex packages); Strong Analog & Mixed Signal design knowledge; Ability to create, check & edit Gerber and plot files; Exposure to IPC & MIL design standards; Experience with EDA tools: Cadence Allegro, Orcad, Mentor Graphics, Altium, CAD-Star, etc.; Knowledge of PCB fabrication & assembly processes; Knowledge of passive components & transistors (BJT/FET); Strong troubleshooting skills; Good documentation skills; Ability to work independently and in teams; Strong communication & problem-solving skills; High-speed design expertise preferred; Knowledge of SI/PI simulation required; Knowledge in Flex PCB appreciated.
