Job summary

ARBEX in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Solution Architect and Technical Developer for Payroll and Workday integrations to optimize HR tech and enable scalable processes. You will define standards, stay current with Workday releases, and collaborate with global teams to deliver value across the enterprise.

Bring 7–10+ years in Workday integrations, strong experience with WD Studio, PICOF, PECI, XSLT, and EIB data loads, plus agile and Scrum leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7–10+ years of professional experience with Workday integrations and 4+ years with payroll solutions.
• Experience participating in IT projects/programs.
• Expert in requirements management, with knowledge of architecture and technology management.
• Deep knowledge on integrations definitions.
• Strong experience in Workday integrations with WD Studio, PICOF & PECI, XSLT.
• Strong experience with EIB data loads.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and rapid prototyping; Scrum Master experience preferred.
• Holistic IT background including security, infrastructure, application, information management.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Ability to work in a virtual, cross-cultural, remote team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively analyze business processes integrations and identify innovative opportunities.
• Map the Customer Journey and co-create value-adding integrations with the business.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and stay aware of tech trends.
• Manage configuration, maintenance, and support of Workday HCM and Payroll integrations.
• Act as SME for Payroll and Workday HCM integrations.
• Define standards, guidelines, guardrails, and decision principles across HR tech.
• Ensure designs adhere to architecture patterns, security, and enterprise standards.
• Stay current with Workday releases and new features; drive opportunities for improvement.
• Partner on technology roadmap aligned to business strategy.
• Create comprehensive product documentation and roadmaps.

Team Structure

• Reports to DTS HR & Legal Global Lead
• Coordinate and provide functional leadership to the DTS Workday team

Job responsibilities include:

• Serve as Solution Architect and Technical Developer of medium to large projects for Payroll and Workday platforms integrations. Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity between HR & Legal capabilities.
• Proactive analysis of business processes integrations and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand.
• Map the Customer Journey and partner with the business in the co-creation of solutions integrations that add value to Arbex.
• Drives the evaluation of the factors which must be addressed in the change program.
• Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across org; full awareness of industry and technology trends that can bring K-C a competitive advantage.
• Manage the configuration, maintenance, and support of the Workday HCM system and Payroll integrations.
• As the subject matter expert in Payroll and Workday HCM integrations.
• Define solution standards, guidelines, guardrails and decision principles across the HR technology landscape.
• Ensure solution designs adhere to approved architecture patterns, security requirements, integration standards and enterprise technology principles.
• Stay current with Workday releases and new features, recommending opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Partner on technology roadmap tied to business strategy.
• Create clear and comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, change and configuration documentation, and product roadmaps.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; 7-10+ years of Professional experience with Workday integrations and 4+ years with payroll solutions.
• Experience participating IT Projects and/or Programs.
• Expert in Requirements management, with knowledge of Architecture and Technology management.
• Deep knowledge on Integrations definitions
• Strong experience in Workday integrations with WD Studio, PICOF & PECI, XSLT
• Strong experience with EIB data loads
• Deep knowledge in applying agile methodologies and rapid prototyping. Understands how to coordinate the flow of work between agile teams and more traditional project based teams. Experience as Scrum Master running Agile Projects.
• Has experience developing applications and able to apply that experience to identify opportunities, design initiatives that improve business process and ensure best practices are being followed.
• Holistic IT background, including security, infrastructure, application, information management.
• Strong service delivery skills. Cultivates networking opportunities with peer organizations.
• Broad range of business and IT experiences; has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).
• Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
• Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
