Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking a US Payroll Delivery professional to manage end-to-end US payroll delivery, maintain tax and compliance accuracy, and serve as a trusted client contact. You will own delivery timelines, resolve payroll issues, and drive improvements across payroll operations.

You will oversee multi-state payroll, tax compliance, garnishments, and deductions, while building strong client relationships and improving processes with automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll delivery experience in HR Tech, Payroll Tech, or B2B SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of US payroll processes and multi-state tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end US payroll cycles across bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls.
• Oversee federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance and filings.
• Handle payroll notices, amendments, and compliance-related issues.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Own delivery timelines, SLAs, escalations, and client communications.
• Identify process gaps and drive automation and continuous improvement.

About the role

As a US Payroll Delivery professional at Keka, you'll manage end-to-end US payroll delivery, maintain tax and compliance accuracy, and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients. You'll own delivery timelines, resolve payroll issues, and drive process improvements across payroll operations.

What you’ll do

• Manage end-to-end US payroll cycles across bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls.
• Oversee federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance and filings.
• Manage multi-state payroll complexities, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and payroll reconciliations.
• Manage payroll notices, amendments, and compliance-related issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and build strong relationships.
• Own delivery timelines, SLAs, escalations, and client communication.
• Identify process gaps and drive automation and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

• Strong knowledge of US payroll processes, tax compliance, and multi-state payroll.
• 3+ years of payroll delivery experience in an HR Tech, Payroll Tech, or B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience with platforms such as Gusto, Rippling, Justworks, Deel, Papaya, TriNet, ADP, Paylocity, Paycom, Paycor, or similar.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High ownership, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
