Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for a large employee base, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. The role requires strong taxation knowledge and a hands-on approach with payroll systems.

You will handle inputs, validate data, and coordinate with HR and finance across multiple locations in India. Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software is essential for success.

Qualifications

• B.com / MBA preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of India payroll processing experience for Grade 2, and 4–5 years for Grade 3.
• Strong knowledge of taxation and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for 10,000–12,000 employees.
• Handle payroll tax filings and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, Labour Welfare).
• Perform Taxation validation and TDS returns.
• Run Maker-Checker processes and final settlements.
• Ensure timely payroll disbursement and SLA adherence.

We are looking for a knowledgeable resource with strong Experience who can handle the end-to-end payroll
processing, maintaining compliances, and handling employees level 2 queries related to Payroll, taxation, and
statutory compliances. The Person should possess a strong analytical mindset, good communication (Hindi /
English), attention to detail and the desire continuously drive improvements and simplify processes.

Payroll Specialist will be responsible for Processing End to End Payroll for 10000-12000 employees | Full
& Final Settlement | Perform Maker Checker | Taxation Validation | TDS Return Preparation and
submission | Compliances Validation e.g. PF | ESIC | Professional Tax and Labor Welfare fund within an
agreed SLAs.
