Job description

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws and compliance, including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, Bonus, and Gratuity.
• Expertise in payroll systems and tools (e.g., Zoho, ADP, GreytHR, Keka etc.); ability to evaluate and onboard new tools as the business scales.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, and macro-based automation for payroll reconciliation and reporting.
• Strong understanding of billing and commercial aspects of payroll outsourcing, including per-employee pricing models and SLA-linked billing.
• Ability to read and interpret salary structures, CTC breakdowns, and tax computation sheets; proficiency in computing net pay, arrears, and FnF workings.
• Familiarity with HRMS platforms and ability to manage data migration, bulk uploads, and system configurations during client onboarding.
• Working knowledge of new-age compliance areas – including Labour Codes, POSH, and DPDP Act implications on employee data handling in payroll.
