Role Description

The Payroll Executive - US Shift role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for US-based clients, including gathering and validating payroll data, calculating wages, deductions, and benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate disbursement. Daily tasks include maintaining payroll records, reconciling payroll reports, addressing payroll-related queries, and coordinating with internal teams and client contacts to resolve discrepancies. The Payroll Executive will monitor compliance with relevant policies and client-specific requirements, support audits and reporting, and contribute to process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency. This role may also involve working with payroll and accounting software, adhering to defined SLAs and KPIs, and supporting cross-functional collaboration within the finance and accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing, with the ability to manage end-to-end payroll cycles accurately.
• Experience in Payroll Management and Finance, including reconciliation, reporting.
• Effective Communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders, and to address payroll queries clearly and professionally.
• Proficiency with payroll and accounting software, MS Excel, and data management tools.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to work in US shifts and in an on-site, fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in US payroll or BPO/KPO environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of compliance standards, internal controls, and best practices for secure handling of financial and personal data.
