Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for India payroll within defined timelines.
  • Validate payroll inputs including new hires, exits, salary revisions, variable pay, bonuses, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
  • Perform Gross-to-Net (G2N) payroll validation to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Review payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues before payroll finalization.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory regulations including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, TDS, and other payroll‑related requirements.
  • Support payroll audits and maintain payroll documentation and records.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Tax, and external payroll vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Manage employee payroll queries and provide timely resolution for both routine and complex payroll‑related issues.
  • Utilize Workday and Dayforce systems for payroll input management, validation, reporting, and employee data administration.
  • Participate in payroll process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, payroll policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
