Align Knowledge Centre in Pune is seeking a Payments Processing Implementation Specialist with hands-on experience in card payments, payment transaction processing and end-to-end integration.

The role focuses on direct exposure to the electronic payments ecosystem and managing multiple customer implementation projects within a hybrid work setup in Pune. A strong background in payment lifecycles and 4-party model is required.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in Payment Processing / Card Payments / Electronic Payments.
• Hands-on experience in payment implementation, customer onboarding, payment integration or processing implementation.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end card payment transaction lifecycle.
• Good understanding of the 4-Party Payment Model Cardholder, Merchant, Issuer and Acquirer.
• Knowledge of Authorization, Clearing and Settlement.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end customer payment processing implementation projects.
• Gather and document customer requirements and implementation activities.
• Coordinate payment system integration and implementation activities.
• Support customer host/interface integration and testing.
• Guide customers through payment processing specifications, rules and documentation.
• Coordinate transaction testing, issue resolution and implementation readiness.
• Manage multiple customer implementation projects in parallel.

Job Title: Payments Processing Implementation Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly relevant Payments Processing Implementation Specialist with hands‑on experience in card payments, payment transaction processing, customer implementation and payment system integration.

This is not a generic Project Manager or Software Development role. The ideal candidate must have direct exposure to the electronic payments ecosystem and end-to-end payment processing lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in Payment Processing / Card Payments / Electronic Payments
• Hands‑on experience in payment implementation, customer onboarding, payment integration or processing implementation
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end card payment transaction lifecycle
• Good understanding of the 4-Party Payment Model Cardholder, Merchant, Issuer and Acquirer
• Knowledge of Authorization, Clearing and Settlement
• Experience working with payment processing systems, transaction formats and customer host/interfaces
• Exposure to interface integration, transaction testing, host testing or payment certification/testing
• Experience coordinating customer-facing payment implementation projects
• Ability to manage multiple implementation projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong understanding of the digital payments ecosystem

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mastercard payment processing systems or Mastercard ecosystem
• Knowledge of MDES / Tokenization / Digital Wallets / Digital Payments
• Experience working with a Payment Network, Issuer, Acquirer, Payment Processor, Payment Gateway or FinTech
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
