Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payment Posting Team Leader to manage payment posting operations for US healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM). The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of insurance and patient payment posting, EOB/ERA processing, reconciliation, denial identification, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the payment posting team to ensure accurate and timely posting of insurance and patient payments.
• Oversee posting of payments received through Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA/835), Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
• Ensure accurate posting of payments, adjustments, contractual write-offs, and patient responsibilities.
• Monitor daily productivity, quality, turnaround time (TAT), and team performance.
• Perform payment reconciliation and investigate posting discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve payment posting errors, duplicate postings, and unidentified payments.
• Coordinate with AR, denial management, cash reconciliation, and other RCM teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality reports.
• Conduct quality audits, provide feedback, and support team training and development.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, HIPAA guidelines, and company policies.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in US healthcare RCM, preferably in payment posting.
• Prior experience handling or leading a payment posting team.
• Strong knowledge of US healthcare insurance payment posting processes.
• Hands-on experience with EOB, ERA/835, EFT, adjustments, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of contractual adjustments, denial codes, and patient responsibility.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Experience in team handling, quality monitoring, productivity tracking, and reporting.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and healthcare billing systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with strong payment posting process knowledge and team leadership experience.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days are preferred.
• Candidates willing to work from the office in Andheri, Mumbai.
