Job summary

Hirex Services in Kolkata is seeking a pastry production specialist to join its kitchen. You will handle daily production of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts following recipes; assist senior pastry chefs with prep, weighing, and mixing; ensure quality, hygiene, and accurate FIFO inventory.

This role requires strict cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards to deliver consistent quality across all products.

Responsibilities

• Daily Production: Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts following standard recipes.
• Station Support: Assist senior pastry chefs with daily prep work, weighing ingredients, and mixing.
• Quality & Consistency: Ensure uniform taste, portion size, and visual presentation for all baked goods.
• Hygiene & Safety: Keep the work area clean and follow food safety and sanitation rules.
• Inventory & Storage: Practice FIFO (First-In, First-Out), label items correctly, and track stock levels.
