Overview

Job Overview: Sri Lakshmi Tractors, a trusted dealer of Mahindra tractors, is seeking an organized and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for managing the inventory of tractor parts, helping customers and technicians find the correct parts for Mahindra tractors and agricultural machinery, and ensuring timely ordering and stocking of parts.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance: Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and selecting the appropriate parts for Mahindra tractors (Oja, Yuvraj, Jivo, XP Plus, SP Plus, Yuvo Tech +, Arjun, Novo) and other equipment.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders for parts when necessary, and receiving shipments.
• Order Processing: Process customer and internal parts orders efficiently, ensuring quick and accurate fulfillment.
• Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.
• Stock Organization: Organize and label parts inventory for easy access, ensuring the parts department is clean, orderly, and efficient.
• Pricing and Invoicing: Ensure parts are priced correctly, and generate invoices for both customer and technician orders.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with Mahindra products, parts catalogues, and technical information to effectively assist customers and team members.
• Warranty Claims: Process warranty claims for defective parts and work with manufacturers to resolve issues.
• Reporting: Maintain records of parts sold, stock levels, and parts ordered, and generate regular reports for management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a parts advisor or parts management role (preferably in the automotive or agricultural machinery sector).
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and ordering systems.
