44th District Court seeks a Part Time Probation Investigator to interview, investigate, and evaluate personal and criminal histories referred to the probation department. You will prepare pre-sentence investigations, alcohol evaluations, and sentencing recommendations with tailored rehabilitation plans.
Hours are 24-32 per week, up to 1,400 hours per year. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to complete
Under the supervision of the Chief Probation Officer and Court Administration the successful candidate will interview, investigate, and evaluate the personal and criminal history of individuals referred to the 44th District Court probation department. The candidate will prepare comprehensive pre-sentence investigations, alcohol evaluations, and sentencing recommendations, which include actionable treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to each individual.

A Part Time Probation Investigator, upon application, shall have the following training and experience:
