Job summary

A leading cold chain technology provider in Mumbai is seeking a Pan-India Cold Chain Supervisor to oversee operations at multiple customer sites. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in cold chain or refrigeration management, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively. Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in cold chain operations, warehouse supervision, or refrigeration systems.
• Experience working with e-commerce cold chain clients preferred.
• Proficiency in reporting dashboards.
• Knowledge of PCM-based technology, chillers, reefers, and cold storage systems preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, WMS, and reporting dashboards.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer-handling skills.
• Travel across India (70–80%) is required.

Role: Pan-India Cold Chain Supervisor – Customer Warehouse Operations

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports To: National Operations Manager

To supervise and ensure optimal performance, correct usage, and upkeep of TESSOL cold chain equipment (reefer units, PCM boxes, chillers, etc.) deployed across customer warehouses and fulfilment centres in India. The role ensures temperature compliance, uptime, and smooth collaboration between TESSOL’s operations and client teams (Amazon, Zomato, etc.) for uninterrupted cold chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operations & Supervision
  • Oversee the installation, daily usage, and maintenance of TESSOL cold chain systems at customer sites.
  • Ensure temperature control and energy efficiency across all equipment and cold storage zones.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify operational performance and ensure minimal downtime.
• Customer Warehouse Support
  • Coordinate with warehouse managers and staff at client locations to ensure proper use of TESSOL equipment.
  • Guide teams on loading/unloading, temperature segregation, and equipment care.
  • Monitor product handling in chilled, frozen, and ambient zones for quality and compliance.
• Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Schedule preventive maintenance (PM) and coordinate repairs with TESSOL’s service teams.
  • Identify operational issues and ensure quick resolution to avoid breakdowns.
  • Maintain and update PM logs, service reports, and calibration records.
• Training & Compliance
  • Train warehouse staff on safe handling, hygiene, and temperature maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to FSSAI and client SOPs for cold chain operations.
  • Conduct routine audits and documentation checks at customer sites.
• Reporting & Coordination
  • Share daily/weekly/monthly reports on equipment usage, uptime, and maintenance.
  • Liaise between TESSOL’s engineering, service, and client operations teams for smooth collaboration.
  • Support new site setups, equipment commissioning, and performance trials.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3–6 years of experience in cold chain operations, warehouse supervision, or refrigeration systems.
