Job summary

RGBSI at the Thiruvallur Plant is seeking an experienced Paint Process Manager to lead our painting operations for automotive/industrial coatings. You will optimize paint application processes and guide cross-functional teams to deliver consistent quality.

The role requires 8+ years in paint processes, strong knowledge of paint chemistry, and hands-on experience with automation and CAD tools. Robotics exposure and Six Sigma certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in paint application processes.
• Strong knowledge of paint chemistry and application methods (spray, dip).
• Experience with automated painting systems and robotics is a plus.
• Lean manufacturing, risk management and quality tools background.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, TS16949 or similar standards.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications.

• Extensive experience in paint application processes, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or industrial coatings
• Strong knowledge of paint chemistry, application methods (spray, dip, etc.), and equipment.
• Experience with automated painting systems, robotic painting, and CAD software for designing painting processes is a plus.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing, risk management, and quality tools.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, TS16949, or similar certifications.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications.
