Job summary

Walltek Paints Pvt. Ltd. in Bhopal is seeking a hands-on Paint Chemist for the production plant to independently handle paint production, formulation implementation, quality control and texture manufacturing.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in paint manufacturing, preferably with water-based paints and texture paints, and will involve coordinating with Production and QC teams to ensure consistent quality and minimal wastage.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Paint Technology, Chemical Technology or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in paint manufacturing are essential.
• Preference for texture paint production and plant operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day paint production and batch manufacturing.
• Work on water-based paints, primers, putty and decorative texture products.
• Develop and maintain production formulations as per approved specifications.
• Monitor raw material addition, mixing, dispersion and batch consistency.
• Conduct basic quality checks such as viscosity, pH, density, shade, drying and finish.

Job Role

We are looking for a hands-on Paint Chemist for our manufacturing plant who can independently handle paint production, formulation implementation, quality control and texture manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day paint production and batch manufacturing.
• Work on water-based paints, primers, putty and decorative texture products.
• Develop and maintain production formulations as per approved specifications.
• Handle major texture products such as Roto Rustic, Roller Coat, Stone Natural, Dune Granite, Travertino, Perlina, Granito Wall, Walltek Granite, etc.
• Monitor raw material addition, mixing, dispersion and batch consistency.
• Conduct basic quality checks such as viscosity, pH, density, shade, drying and finish.
• Troubleshoot production and product-quality issues.
• Ensure consistent quality and minimize production wastage.
• Coordinate with Production and QC teams for smooth manufacturing.
• Maintain batch sheets, production records and quality reports.

Required Qualification

B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Paint Technology, Chemical Technology or equivalent.

Required Experience

5 +years of hands-on experience in Paint Manufacturing, preferably Water-Based Paints and Texture Paints.

Preference: Candidates with practical experience in texture paint production and manufacturing plant operations will be preferred.
