Job summary

JobItUs in Vadodara, India, seeks a hands-on Packing Assistant to support finished chemical product packing lines under SOPs. You will assist with filling, sealing, labeling, and weighing, ensuring accurate batch details and quantities.

You will handle drums, bags, and containers safely, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety guidelines with PPE. The role also includes loading/unloading, dispatch support, and basic record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packing of finished chemical products (liquid/solid) as per SOPs.
• Operate basic packing equipment under supervision (filling, sealing, weighing, labeling).
• Ensure correct labeling, batch details, and quantity during packing.
• Handle materials such as drums, bags, and containers safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the packing area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use PPE at all times.
• Report any issues or abnormalities to the supervisor immediately.
• Support loading/unloading and dispatch activities.
• Maintain basic records/log sheets of packing work.
