Job summary

USV PRIVATE LIMITED in India is seeking a packaging technician to operate blister packing lines, perform changeovers, and ensure strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

The role includes coordinating with maintenance, maintaining GMP records, and supporting audit readiness across global regulatory frameworks. Experience in high-volume packaging environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blister packing machines to ensure smooth production.
• Set up the machine, perform format changeovers, and adjust for product specs.
• Conduct in-process quality checks including leak tests, weight checks, visuals, and batch coding.
• Troubleshoot faults, jams, and issues; coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Maintain GMP-compliant batch records, logbooks, and cleaning records per SOPs.
• Handle materials by loading foils, PVC, and aluminum while minimizing wastage.
• Ensure audit readiness with USFDA, MHRA, WHO, and EU-GMP packaging requirements.

Job description

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor BQS blister packing machines, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
• Setup & Changeover: Perform machine setup, format changeover, and adjustments to accommodate different product specifications.
• In-Process Quality Checks: Conduct leak tests, weight checks, visual inspections, and batch coding verification to ensure packaging quality.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve machine faults, jams, and technical issues, coordinating with the maintenance team for repairs.
• GMP Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate batch records, logbooks, and machine cleaning records as per SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Material Handling: Ensure proper loading of foils, PVC, and aluminum while minimizing wastage.
• Audit Readiness: Ensure compliance with USFDA, MHRA, WHO, and EU-GMP regulatory requirements for packaging operations.
