Job summary

Barosi is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee daily packaging operations in Gurugram. You will guide the team, allocate tasks, and ensure products meet quality standards while minimizing wastage.

The role requires 1–3 years in packaging/production, with a diploma/technical degree preferred. Strong communication, teamwork and shift readiness are essential for success at Barosi.

Qualifications

• Experience in Packaging/Production operations is required.
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.Sc. in Food Technology, Production or related field preferred.
• Good team-handling and communication skills are essential.
• Basic knowledge of packaging processes, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage manpower and meet daily targets.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily packaging operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Manage and allocate tasks to packaging team members.
• Ensure products are packed correctly as per quality and company standards.
• Monitor packaging materials, consumption and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse and Dispatch teams.
• Monitor packaging output and ensure daily targets are achieved.
• Maintain daily packaging records, production reports and MIS.
• Identify and resolve packaging-related issues to avoid delays and downtime.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of packaging materials.
• Train and guide packaging staff on processes, quality, safety and hygiene.
• Ensure cleanliness, housekeeping and safety standards in the packaging area.
• Follow company SOPs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
