Job summary

AP Management Consultants is seeking a packaging quality assurance professional in India to oversee incoming inspections and in-process checks of packaging materials. You will verify artwork, barcodes, batch numbers, MFD/EXP and monitor conformity to GMP and HACCP standards.

The role requires coordinating with Production, R&D, Purchase, Warehouse and Suppliers, raising NCRs, and supporting RCA & CAPA to drive continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Incoming inspection of packaging materials as per specification and AQL.
• Check bottles, caps, pouches, labels, cartons and other packaging components.
• Perform dimension, weight, thickness, leakage, seal strength, torque and drop tests.
• Conduct online/in-process packaging quality checks.
• Verify artwork, barcode, batch number, MFD/EXP and MRP.
• Identify and control packaging defects and non-conformities.
• Raise NCR and support RCA & CAPA.
• Handle supplier quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support new packaging trials and validation.
• Maintain inspection records, test reports and quality documents.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Purchase, Warehouse and Suppliers.
