Job summary

Bsa Polycontainer is seeking a quality control professional to oversee first-piece approvals, in-line checks, and leakage testing on packaging components. You will verify dimensions, weights, and closures, ensuring defect-free material dispatch.

The role focuses on hands-on shop-floor QC, using calipers and standard instruments, and requires a technical background in packaging science or related fields. Based in India, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Plastics Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Experienced and passionate towards quality.

Responsibilities

• First-Piece Approval: Inspects the first parts from a fresh mold setup to confirm dimensions before giving production the green light.
• In-Line Quality Control: Performs routine shop-floor checks on critical physical attributes.
• Dimensional Accuracy: Checking neck finishes, thread profiles, and heights using calipers and required instruments.
• Weight & Volume Verification: Measuring weights to catch 'short shots' or excessive resin use.
• Seal & Leak Testing: Testing closures and bottles using vacuum or pressurized underwater setups to spot micro-leaks.
• Error free Material dispatch: Ensure error free dispatch

Education

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Plastics Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline
