Job summary

HRD House is seeking a Packaging Development professional in Pune with 3–7 years of pharma packaging experience. You will lead development for nasal and DPI packaging, select materials, and prepare specifications and reports to support product launches.

The role requires BE or a PG Diploma in Packaging Technology, strong analytical and coordination skills, and hands-on experience with DMS, PM, CAD and ERP systems. You will collaborate across QA/QC and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• BE or PG Diploma in Packaging Technology.
• 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical/drug-device packaging development.
• Hands‑on experience in Nasal & DPI packaging.
• Knowledge of primary & secondary packaging development, artwork and packaging documentation.
• Experience in trials, stability activities and technology transfer.
• Good analytical, communication and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of DMS, PM, CAD and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and develop new packaging packs (primary and secondary).
• Select and evaluate packaging materials and specifications.
• Prepare packaging specifications, STPs, BOMs and Container Suitability Reports.
• Review artwork/KLD, approve changes and manage changes.
• Support MPD preparation, stability packing, trials and tech transfer activities.
• Visit plants/CMOs, troubleshoot and coordinate with QA/QC.
• Support regulatory documentation, deviations, CAPA and change controls.
• Maintain packaging development records, trackers and reports.

• Candidate will be responsible for innovator/RLD sample analysis and development of new packaging packs.
• Candidate will be responsible for primary and secondary packaging material selection and evaluation.
• Candidate will be responsible for preparing packaging specifications, STPs, BOMs and Container Suitability Reports.
• Candidate will be responsible for artwork/KLD review, approval and change management.
• Candidate will be responsible for supporting MPD preparation, stability packing, trials and tech transfer activities.
• Candidate will be responsible for plant/CMO visits, troubleshooting and coordination with QA/QC.
