Job summary

Pack Universe International INC in Madhya Pradesh, India, seeks a Mechanical/Packaging Engineer to design corrugated and wooden packaging for automotive OEMs using CAD tools. You will develop crates, trays, and export packaging, ensuring compliance and documenting tests.

Based in India, you will coordinate with production for prototypes, manage BOMs, and liaise with VW, Bajaj, and MG to meet client specifications.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Packaging Technology required.
• 1-3 years experience in corrugated or wooden packaging design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Design corrugated and wooden packaging using CAD/3D tools.
• Conduct structural testing (BCT, ECT, drop tests) and document results.
• Liaise with automotive clients on packaging specifications.
• Manage BOM and coordinate with production for prototype builds.
• Ensure ISPM-15 and IATF 16949 compliance on export packaging.

• Ensure ISPM-15 and IATF 16949 compliance on all export packaging

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Packaging Technology
• 1-3 years experience in corrugated or wooden packaging design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of ISPM-15 phytosanitary standards is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
