• Research to find the best products and suppliers in terms of delivery, price, and quality.
• Experience in packaging planning - Forecast demand for packaging material to meet needs and keep a check on stock levels.
• Vendor Development - Identify potential suppliers, visit existing suppliers, and establish relationships.
• Negotiation with vendors, preparing comparison statements, placing orders, follow - up with vendors.
• Procurement of packaging material.
• Other related activities include purchase, procurement, packaging material, placing orders, and vendor development.
