Fortune Consultancy is seeking an Outsourcing Engineer/Coordinator for an aerospace parts manufacturer in Coimbatore. You will manage external suppliers from drawings to quotes, quality approval, and on-time delivery, coordinating with procurement, quality, and planning teams to meet customer specifications.

The role requires understanding of aerospace manufacturing, RFQ processes, and ERP/MS Excel usage to track progress and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aerospace parts manufacturing and tolerances.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and CNC machining.
• Familiarity with RFQ, quotation, and purchase order processes.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems for tracking and reporting.
• Strong communication, coordination, and supplier management skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with external suppliers for aerospace parts manufacturing.
• Send engineering drawings and technical specifications to suppliers.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations.
• Coordinate with the purchase team for PO release.
• Follow up with suppliers on manufacturing progress and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate outsourced processes such as CNC machining, heat treatment, surface treatment and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ensure manufactured parts meet customer drawings and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with quality team for inspection and approval of parts.
• Maintain outsourcing documents, supplier records and delivery status reports.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost and delivery.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with production, quality, purchase and planning departments.

About the Role Fortune Consultancy is hiring an Outsourcing Engineer / Coordinator for an aerospace parts manufacturing company in Coimbatore. You will manage external suppliers for outsourced processes. Your work covers the cycle from sending drawings and getting quotes to follow-up, quality approval and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external suppliers for aerospace parts manufacturing
• Send engineering drawings and technical specifications to suppliers

• Coordinate with the purchase team for purchase order (PO) release
• Follow up with suppliers on manufacturing progress and delivery schedules
