Job summary

Hical Technologies Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru seeks an experienced sourcing professional to lead COTS parts procurement for electronic and electromechanical components, with a focus on cost reduction and supplier development.

The ideal candidate has a BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics, at least 5 years in COTS sourcing, and familiarity with RoHS, REACH and AS9100 quality standards. Aerospace exposure is preferred, and strong negotiation and coordination skills are essential.

• Minimum 5 years in COTS sourcing, preferably electronic and electromechanical components.
• Experience in supplier NDA execution, pre-assessment & registration, supplier assessment and audit process is desirable.
• Aerospace manufacturing exposure is preferred; familiarity with supplier base and competitive suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Source and obtain competitive quotes for all types of COTS parts within aggressive timelines.
• Review customer specifications and prepare BOM and product requirements for new products.
• Send and review supplier quotes for new projects to ensure on-time completion of product costing.
• Review BOM and costing, negotiate prices for bidding projects.
• Conduct supplier meetings and visits.
• Develop new materials and suppliers for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Identify suppliers to address single-source risk and replace underperforming suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Track samples to ensure timely completion of material inward and incoming inspection for sample builds.
