Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Velachery, Tamil Nadu is hiring a Warehouse Operations professional to oversee day-to-day material flow, inventory control, and dispatch. The role emphasizes compliance with 5S, EHS, and ISO procedures.

You will coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Logistics, supervise contract labour, and ensure OTIF delivery through SAP MM/WMS transactions and accurate stock postings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MM / WMS and inventory control.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, 5S and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth material flow.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through daily stock verification and cycle counting.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of materials.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO principles and maintain inventory traceability.
• Process warehouse transactions in SAP MM/WMS and maintain MIS reports.
• Verify orders and coordinate dispatch per delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with production, planning, procurement, quality and logistics teams.
• Ensure timely GRN, stock posting and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain warehouse layout, locations and material identification.
• Support audits and drive continuous improvement for productivity.
