Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks an SAP SD Support Consultant to provide functional support and issue resolution for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver SAP solutions aligned with business goals.

Job description

The SAP SD Support Consultant is responsible for providing functional support, issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement for the Sales & Distribution module across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. The role ensures smooth business operations by collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing business requirements, and delivering high‑quality SAP solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

1. 1.Application support and Business Process Management Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to order-to-cash (OTC) processes. Analyse root causes and implement permanent fixes to reduce recurring issues. Monitor IDocs, batch jobs, pricing errors, and interface failures. Support end-to-end SD processes: Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Shipping, Billing, Credit Management, Returns, Rebates. Work closely with business users to understand operational challenges and propose solutions. Document functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and integrations. Prepare test scenarios and perform unit, integration, and UAT testing. Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials. Support release management and transport movement. Coordinate with FI, MM, PP, WM, and CRM teams for integrated processes. Work with technical teams for interface support (EDI, IDoc, API, middleware).

Configuration & Enhancements Perform configuration in ECC and S/4HANA SD areas such as: Pricing (condition types, access sequences, pricing procedures) Output determination Credit management Delivery & billing configuration Copy controls Partner determination Support custom developments (WRICEF objects) by working with ABAP teams.
3. 3. S/4HANA Transition & Support Support migration activities from ECC to S/4HANA (brownfield/greenfield). Validate data migration objects (customers, materials, pricing, open orders). Adapt to S/4HANA innovations such as: Business Partner concept Advanced ATP Fiori apps for SD Simplified data model
