Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS) with a postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics (MDS or equivalent).
• Valid professional registration to practice as an orthodontist.
• Ability to diagnose, plan, and manage cases using aligners and braces.
• Excellent communication to explain options and build patient trust.
• Experience with digital tools and electronic health records is preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced clinic with multidisciplinary teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Orthodontist role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Orthodontist will conduct comprehensive orthodontic evaluations, diagnose malocclusions, and create individualized treatment plans, primarily using invisible aligners and braces. Daily responsibilities include performing clinical procedures, monitoring treatment progress, adjusting appliances as needed, and ensuring high standards of dental care and patient safety. The role involves educating patients on treatment options, oral hygiene practices, and expected outcomes, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and case records. The Orthodontist will collaborate with other dental professionals and clinic staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care and support the continuous improvement of clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Dentistry, with the ability to integrate medical and dental considerations into treatment planning.
• Specialized expertise in Orthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of cases using aligners and braces.
• Demonstrated skills in Treatment delivery and Dental Care, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based clinical practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS) and recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics (MDS or equivalent), with valid professional registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain treatment options clearly and build trust with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage multiple cases, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfort with digital tools and electronic health records; experience with clear aligner systems or digital orthodontic workflows is an advantage.
