Job summary

Ensto is hiring an Order Handling Specialist to manage the end-to-end order lifecycle, provide timely updates, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

You will work with ERP systems, CRM tools, and MS 365 applications in a customer-focused role, contributing to a sustainable future in electricity distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in order handling, order processing, customer service, or related roles.
• Hands-on ERP-based order management with IFS or a comparable ERP system is preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Enter, validate, confirm, monitor, and update customer orders in the ERP system.
• Provide timely updates on order status, pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and modifications.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues professionally.
• Record, coordinate, and follow up customer claims and service cases in the CRM system through closure.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Sales, Production, Warehouse, Sourcing, suppliers, and subcontractors to support on-time delivery.
• Manage complex orders in coordination with the Customer Care Specialist or Team Leader.
• Register direct deliveries, verify invoice details, and ensure complete and accurate documentation.

Job Objective

Deliver a responsive and reliable customer experience by managing the end-to-end order lifecycle, providing accurate updates, resolving order-related issues, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, validate, confirm, monitor, and update customer orders in the ERP system.
• Provide timely and accurate updates on order status, pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and modifications.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve order-related issues professionally.
• Record, coordinate, and follow up customer claims and service cases in the CRM system through closure.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Sales, Production, Warehouse, Sourcing, suppliers, and subcontractors to support on-time delivery.
• Manage complex orders in coordination with the Customer Care Specialist or Team Leader.
• Register direct deliveries, verify invoice details, and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
• Calculate and maintain transfer prices and customer master data.
• Purchase trading items, monitor supplier confirmations, and follow up on delivery or data deviations.
• Complete market-specific responsibilities and comply with applicable regional processes and regulations.
• Identify recurring order-handling issues and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in order handling, order processing, customer service, customer care, sales operations, supply chain coordination, or a related role.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP‑based order management; knowledge of IFS or a comparable ERP system is preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience in customer‑facing roles involving invoicing, direct deliveries, order processing, and master data.
• Working knowledge of relevant Indian taxation terms and their application in invoicing and order processing.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; French, Spanish, or German language skills are an advantage.
