Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Service Contracts Tech Lead in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining the Oracle EBS Service Contracts module (OKS) and its interfaces across CPQ, AR/AP, and Order Management.

You will collaborate with business analysts and the enterprise architecture team to deliver robust technical solutions that align with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years total IT experience with emphasis on Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1/R12.2) technical development.
• 3+ years dedicated experience with Oracle Service Contracts and related service modules.
• Proven design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for Oracle EBS/OKS/CPQ ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, customization, integration, and maintenance of Oracle EBS Service Contracts module (OKS).
• Bridge between business stakeholders, BSA's, and technical teams to architect scalable, secure solutions.
• Provide L3 production support, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture to translate requirements into scalable solutions across Oracle EBS and CPQ.

Job Description

The desired candidate will be a vital part of the Global IT team with a proven track record of designing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to address challenges and opportunities within the Oracle EBS suite of applications. A person who is passionate about technology transformations, and helping our business partners envision the future & how we enable it.

You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, the enterprise architecture team, and other IT teams to ensure technical solutions align with strategic business objectives.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

Oracle EBS Service Contracts Technical Lead leads the technical design, development, customization, integration, and maintenance of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Service Contracts module (OKS). This techno-functional leadership role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, BSA's, and the technical team to architect robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.

Oracle Tools and Technical Skills

• Good hands on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, RICE Objects, Workflow or OAF.

Interfaces

• Design and maintain interfaces between Oracle Service Contracts, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Order Management, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts payables(AP).

APIs & Frameworks

• Good experience working on standard Service Contracts PL/SQL APIs (OKS, OKC, CSI packages).

Coding Standards & Best Practices

• Oversee and conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and technical design verification to ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.

Integrations

• Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware architectures like Mulesoft connecting Oracle ERP/CPQ using REST APIs.

End-to-End Development experience as part of Implementations, Rollouts, Data Migration projects

• Collaborate closely with business system analysts and the enterprise architecture team to translate business requirements via Business Process Documents, Technical Specifications and User Stories into scalable technical solutions across Oracle EBS and Oracle CPQ.
• Provide L3 technical support for production incidents, root-cause analysis, and continuous process optimization.
• Good experience with AI tools like Gemini, Co-pilot etc to perform the technical activities on a day-today basis.
• Dynamic to learn new technologies, products and features in Oracle.
• Lead and inspire your team to foster an agile and innovative culture.
• Communicate risk/issues to leadership and recommend solutions.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills. Systematic and organized in day-to-day operations.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Good understanding of Inventory, Order Management & Shipping flows in R12 and Oracle Fusion.
• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay flows in R12 and Oracle Fusion.
• Good to have technical exposure to Oracle CPQ, ODI, SFDC, OIC and/or Mulesoft.
• Certification in Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Technologies.

Education
