Job summary

Niktor in Hyderabad is seeking a senior Oracle EBS SCM consultant to lead a production support engagement for a global consumer products client. You will own ATP and order scheduling end to end, and oversee Order Management, Inventory and Purchasing processes.

You will diagnose scheduling issues, manage data collection and batch cycles, and ensure ontime promise dates across PO shipments, ASN and inbound receipts, while coordinating with planners, buyers and 3PL partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite SCM experience (R12) in support or implementation.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in ATP and order scheduling.
• Strong working knowledge of Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing and iSupplier Portal.

Job description

We are looking for a senior Oracle EBS SCM consultant to join a production support engagement for a global consumer products client. The client runs a complex order-to-cash and procure-to-receive landscape with 3PL warehouses, freight forwarder integrations and EDI. You will own the ATP and order scheduling areas end to end, along with the surrounding Order Management, Inventory and Purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities

ATP & Scheduling (primary focus)

Own the ATP configuration and behavior: ATP rules, supply and demand sources, ATP collections, planning data pull and scheduling at order entry and in batch.

Diagnose and resolve scheduling issues: incorrect schedule ship/arrival dates, orders failing to schedule, reservation and ATP mismatches, and supply type changes such as PO in transit to Onhand.

Manage the ATP data collection and "Schedule Orders" cycles, including concurrent program setup, run sequences, performance tuning and failure recovery.

Handle arrival buffer days, lead time and calendar setups by destination warehouse and freight forwarder, and their effect on promise dates.

Analyze how PO shipment promised dates, ASN and inbound receipts flow into ATP supply and customer promise dates.

Order Management & Fulfillment

Support the full order-to-cash flow: order entry, scheduling, auto-reserve, pick release, pick/pack, ship confirm, invoicing and AR.

Resolve workflow, holds, interface and booking issues, and support customer-specific requirements such as compliance labels and advance ship notices.

Purchasing & iSupplier

Support PO creation, approval, shipment line updates, promised-date maintenance and PO exception handling.

Support iSupplier Portal setup and supplier-facing issues, and work through freight forwarder shipment update exceptions with planners and buyers.

Inventory & 3PL Integration

Support inventory transactions, onhand and reservations, receiving, and inbound/outbound shipment flows.

Troubleshoot EDI-based integrations with 3PL warehouses, including ASN, receipt confirmation, pick/pack/ship confirmation and the related scheduled export/FTP programs.

Pricing

Handle advanced pricing basics: price lists, modifiers, qualifiers and pricing-related order issues.

Support & Delivery

Handle L2/L3 incidents within SLA, with root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Perform small enhancements and config changes, with functional specs, unit testing and UAT support.

Work with custom concurrent programs, interfaces, staging tables and exception reports (SQL and PL/SQL for analysis, with developers building the fixes).

Document solutions, runbooks and RCA, and mentor junior consultants.

Coordinate with client planners, buyers, warehouse teams, freight forwarders and the offshore/onshore team.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite SCM experience (R12 required) in support and/or implementation.

Deep, hands-on expertise in ATP and order scheduling: ATP rules, collections, scheduling logic, reservations and supply and demand behavior. This is the must-have.

Strong working knowledge of Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing and iSupplier Portal.

Working knowledge of Advanced Pricing fundamentals.

Solid understanding of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay integration points.

Good SQL skills for data analysis and debugging. PL/SQL reading ability is expected, and you should be comfortable with the EBS data model and interface tables.

Experience with EDI/3PL-style integrations, concurrent programs, request sets and scheduling.

Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills, with the confidence to take production issues from triage to closure.

Excellent written and verbal communication, and comfort working directly with client business users.

Good to Have

Experience with ASCP/Demand Planning or Global ATP.

Exposure to Oracle Warehouse Management or third-party WMS integrations.

Experience with freight forwarder or inbound logistics integrations.

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud SCM, or an EBS-to-Cloud migration background.

Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and SLA-driven support models.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Oracle certifications are a plus.
