Job summary

Sopra Steria USA in Noida is seeking an Oracle Apps expert with 6+ years of experience in Discrete Manufacturing. The role requires hands-on implementation, upgrade and support of BOM, WIP, INV, MRP/ASCP, and strong client-facing skills.

You will gather detailed business requirements, map them to Oracle modules, conduct CRP and UAT, and enable data conversion and user training in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Oracle Apps and Discrete Manufacturing.
• At least one end-to-end implementation, upgrade and support project.
• Subject matter expert in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with BOM, WIP, Quality, Inventory, Costing, MRP and ASCP.
• Manufacturing domain experience with client-facing background.
• Ability to gather detailed business requirements and map to Oracle tools.
• Experience with CRP, UAT, training and data conversion.
• Able to write basic SQL queries to extract data.

Required Skills

1. Should have minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in Oracle Apps
2. Should have at least one end to end implementation, upgrade and support project experience
3. Candidate should be subject matter expert in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing
4. Candidate should have hands on experience on Bill Of Materials (BOM), Work In Process (WIP), Quality, Inventory (INV), Costing, MRP and ASCP modules
5. Candidate should have manufacturing domain experience and should have client facing experience
6. Hands on Implementation experience in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, Quality, INV, Costing, MRP / ASCP) that involves business requirement gathering, standard solution design, gap analysis, proof of concept, mapping the business requirement to system functionality, conduct CRP, UAT, user training and data conversion
7. Able to write basic SQL queries to extract, validate data and understand tables structure and background workflows
8. Liaise with Oracle on service requests

Must Have Skills

1. Hands on implementation experience
2. Strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
3. Strong understanding of Oracle Manufacturing modules functionality & processes
4. Ability to gather detailed business requirements and map to available tools and solutions
5. Strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation
6. Demonstrated conceptual and detailed functional design specification skills
7. Configuration, testing, training, change management and support

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years
