Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a skilled Oracle Apps consultant for Noida location with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing. You will own end-to-end BOM, WIP, MRP/ASCP modules, drive requirements gathering, design, CRP/UAT, and data conversion while interfacing with clients.

You must have strong client-facing skills and manufacturing domain knowledge, enabling successful upgrades and implementations within large-scale ERP environments.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Oracle Apps with 4-8 years of relevant work in manufacturing environments.
• End-to-end implementation, upgrade and support experience in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing.
• Subject matter expert in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Discrete Manufacturing implementations (BOM, WIP, Quality, INV, Costing, MRP/ASCP).
• Gather business requirements, design solutions, perform gap analysis, CRP and UAT.
• Coordinate data conversion and user training; support post-go-live activities.

Required Skills

• Should have minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in Oracle Apps
• Should have at least one end to end implementation, upgrade and support project experience
• Candidate should be subject matter expert in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing
• Candidate should have hands on experience on Bill Of Materials (BOM), Work In Process (WIP), Quality, Inventory (INV), Costing, MRP and ASCP modules
• Candidate should have manufacturing domain experience and should have client facing experience
• Hands on Implementation experience in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, Quality, INV, Costing, MRP / ASCP) that involves business requirement gathering, standard solution design, gap analysis, proof of concept, mapping the business requirement to system functionality, conduct CRP, UAT, user training and data conversion
• Able to write basic SQL queries to extract, validate data and understand tables structure and background workflows
• Liaise with Oracle on service requests

Must Have Skills

• Hands on implementation experience
• Strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
• Strong understanding of Oracle Manufacturing modules functionality & processes
• Ability to gather detailed business requirements and map to available tools and solutions
• Strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation
• Demonstrated conceptual and detailed functional design specification skills
• Configuration, testing, training, change management and support

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years

• Any Manufacturing stream / B.Tech (Mech/IT/CS)
