HYR Global Source Inc is seeking a senior Oracle NetSuite Functional SME / Implementation Lead to spearhead a new end-to-end NetSuite implementation in Hyderabad. The role requires 8+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience and ownership of the full lifecycle from discovery through go-live.

The candidate will coordinate with finance, accounting, senior leadership and technical teams, delivering Core Financials, P2P, O2C, project management and project accounting modules.

Position Overview

We are seeking a senior Oracle NetSuite Functional SME / Implementation Lead to lead a new, end-to-end NetSuite implementation.

The consultant will serve as the primary functional point of contact and work closely with business users, finance and accounting teams, senior leadership, technical teams, implementation partners and other project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience implementing and migrating to Oracle NetSuite across Core Financials, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Project Management and Project Accounting.

This is a hands‑on functional role requiring ownership of the implementation lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, data migration, production cutover and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with finance, procurement, sales, project management and business stakeholders to understand current processes, requirements, pain points and future‑state objectives.
• Perform current‑state and future‑state process analysis, fit‑gap assessments and functional solution design.
• Lead functional implementation across NetSuite Core Financials, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, P2P, O2C, Project Management and Project Accounting.
• Evaluate NetSuite modules and SuiteApps and recommend appropriate functional solutions.
• Configure NetSuite functional setups including:
• Chart of Accounts
• Accounting Calendars
• Subsidiaries and Legal Entities
• Departments and Locations
• Customers and Vendors
• Tax Structures
• Approval Workflows
• Payment Processes
• Financial Controls
• Design and implement processes supporting Indian business requirements, including GST, TDS, tax reporting, statutory compliance, invoicing, vendor payments and financial reporting.
• Lead P2P implementation covering procurement requests, purchase orders, receipts, vendor invoices, three‑way matching, approvals, payments and supplier management.
• Lead O2C configuration covering customer management, quotations, sales orders, billing, collections, receipts, revenue processing and accounting.
• Design and implement Project Management and Project Accounting processes, including project budgets, contracts, procurement, project costs, billing, revenue, capitalization and profitability reporting.
• Lead legacy‑system data conversion activities including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation and migration of customers, suppliers, projects, chart of accounts, open AP/AR transactions, assets and opening balances.
• Prepare functional requirement documents, solution‑design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, user guides and training materials.
• Provide functional requirements for integrations, workflows, reports, dashboards, saved searches, SuiteApps and other NetSuite customizations.
• Plan and lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end‑user training.
• Track defects, coordinate resolution and ensure business readiness for go‑live.
• Develop and manage the production cutover plan and support go‑live and post‑production stabilization.
• Evaluate NetSuite mobile and tablet capabilities for executives, project managers, site personnel, approvers and other field users.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial, procurement, billing, project accounting and operational processes using NetSuite capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‑on functional experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP.
• Proven experience leading at least one brand‑new, end‑to‑end NetSuite implementation or major ERP‑to‑NetSuite migration.

• Hands‑on experience configuring NetSuite financial modules, workflows, approval hierarchies, roles, dashboards, reports and saved searches.
• Experience conducting discovery sessions, requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, functional configuration, testing, data conversion and production cutover.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and month‑end/year‑end closing processes.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, implementation partners, technical teams and senior leadership.
• Strong communication, documentation, presentation and project leadership skills.
• Willingness to work from the Hyderabad Financial District office 3 days per week during the initial implementation phase.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA, CMA, MBA Finance, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, statutory accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Oracle NetSuite certifications.
• Experience implementing NetSuite for construction, real estate, engineering, infrastructure or other project-based organizations.
• Knowledge of construction‑specific processes such as:
• Project budgeting
• Subcontractor management
• Site procurement
• Progress billing
• Retention
• Project costing
• Project profitability reporting
• Experience with NetSuite SuiteApps, mobile applications, tablet‑based approvals and field‑user solutions.
• Understanding of NetSuite integrations, SuiteCloud, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, REST/SOAP services and data migration tools.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be a hands‑on NetSuite functional leader who can understand accounting and operational requirements, recommend practical solutions and take ownership of the implementation from discovery through production stabilization.

This is not a coordination‑only role. The candidate should be capable of making functional decisions, configuring NetSuite, working directly with business stakeholders and leading the implementation through go‑live.
