Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Consultant with hands-on expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP Payroll integrations to design, develop, and support integrations between platforms.

The candidate should have strong technical expertise in Oracle HCM integrations, HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL/PLSQL, and ADP interfaces, along with a good understanding of HR and payroll data flows.

Qualifications

6+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud technical experience.
Hands-on Oracle HCM integrations with ADP Payroll.
Strong knowledge of HCM Extracts and HDL.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and SQL/PLSQL.
Experience with SFTP/file-based integrations and ADP data formats.
Understanding HR and payroll data flows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support Oracle HCM Cloud integrations with ADP platforms.
Develop and maintain HCM integrations with ADP and third-party apps.
Work with Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Talent modules.
Create design documents, mapping specs, and integration documentation.
Support SIT/UAT, payroll testing, and production deployment.
Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate with ADP/Oracle teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP Payroll integrations. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Oracle HCM integrations, HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL/PLSQL, and ADP interfaces, along with a good understanding of HR and payroll data flows.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle HCM Technical

Design, develop, and support technical solutions for Oracle HCM Cloud.
Develop and maintain Oracle HCM integrations with ADP and other third‑party applications.
Work with Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Talent.
Develop and maintain HCM Extracts, HDL, BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and other HCM technical components.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
Prepare technical design documents, mapping specifications, and integration documentation.

ADP Integration

Design and develop Oracle HCM Cloud to ADP Payroll integrations.
Develop inbound and outbound interfaces for employee, assignment, compensation, payroll, tax, and other HR‑related data.
Work with ADP GlobalView, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Celergo, or other ADP payroll platforms.
Understand and implement ADP‑specific file layouts and data mapping requirements.
Support ADP payroll interface processing, reconciliation, and error resolution.
Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and transmission issues.
Coordinate with ADP technical/implementation teams to resolve complex integration issues.

APIs & Integration Technologies

Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs for Oracle HCM and ADP integrations.
Work with file‑based integrations using CSV, XML, and other payroll‑specific formats.
Experience with SFTP for secure file transmission.
Design data transformation, mapping, validation, and error‑handling mechanisms.
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integration development and orchestration is preferred.

SQL & Data Management

Develop complex SQL/PLSQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
Analyze Oracle HCM data to identify and resolve payroll/interface discrepancies.
Perform data validation between Oracle HCM and ADP payroll systems.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across integrated systems.

Testing & Production Support

Support SIT, UAT, parallel payroll testing, regression testing, and production deployment.
Develop test scenarios and support defect resolution.
Monitor scheduled integrations and troubleshoot interface failures.
Provide production support and root‑cause analysis for critical payroll integration issues.
Support payroll cutover and post‑production stabilization activities.

Mandatory Skills

6+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud Technical experience.
Strong hands‑on experience in Oracle HCM integrations.
Hands‑on experience with Oracle HCM–ADP Payroll integration.
Strong knowledge of HCM Extracts and HDL.
Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
Good knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
Experience with SFTP and file‑based integrations.
Good understanding of HR and payroll data flows.
Experience working with ADP payroll interfaces and data formats.
Strong troubleshooting and integration support experience.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Knowledge of ADP GlobalView, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Celergo, or ADP Vantage HCM.
Experience with ADP Global Integration (G2) or ADP Connector for Oracle HCM.
Experience with ADP SmartCompliance.
Knowledge of BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI.
Experience with Oracle HCM Payroll.
Experience with multi‑country/global payroll integrations.
Knowledge of payroll reconciliation and parallel payroll processing.
Strong technical and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Good understanding of HR and payroll business processes.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
