Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant ADP Payroll SME to optimize, configure, maintain, and enhance Oracle HCM and ADP payroll solutions for global clients. The role will serve as an ADP Payroll SME, collaborating with HR, Payroll, and Technology teams to manage end-to-end payroll processes and data validation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM / Payroll / ADP Payroll.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP Payroll integration.
• Expertise with at least one ADP platform: GlobalView, Workforce Now, Celergo or Vantage HCM.
• Strong payroll data reconciliation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration and support of Oracle HCM Cloud to ADP Global Payroll integrations.
• Manage inbound and outbound interfaces between Oracle HCM and ADP.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll and IT teams for data validation and issue resolution.
• Support ADP payroll functionalities and employee self-service capabilities.
• Perform SIT/UAT and parallel payroll testing.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant – ADP Payroll with strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP Global Payroll integrations. The consultant will be responsible for the optimization, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle HCM and ADP payroll solutions.

The role will serve as an ADP Payroll SME, working closely with HR, Payroll, Technology teams, and ADP partners to manage end-to-end payroll processes, integrations, data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

ADP Product & Payroll Expertise

• Expert-level knowledge of at least one primary ADP platform:
• ADP GlobalView
• ADP Workforce Now
• ADP Celergo
• ADP Vantage HCM
• Strong understanding of global payroll processes, payroll data, tax, compliance, and payroll interfaces.
• Experience supporting ADP payroll implementations, enhancements, and production support.

Oracle HCM – ADP Integration

• Lead the configuration and support of Oracle HCM Cloud to ADP Global Payroll integrations.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Global Integration (G2) or ADP Connector for Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Manage inbound and outbound interfaces between Oracle HCM and ADP.
• Analyze integration failures, data discrepancies, and interface-related issues.
• Work with technical teams to define integration requirements and functional specifications.

ADP Functional Responsibilities

• Configure and support ADP payroll-related functionalities and employee self-service capabilities.
• Support employee access to pay statements, W-2s, tax information, and related payroll services.
• Lead payroll reconciliation between Oracle HCM person/assignment data and ADP payroll registers.
• Ensure payroll data accuracy and completeness before payroll processing cycles.
• Act as the primary functional point of contact with ADP implementation and support teams.

Data Management & Validation

• Own payroll-related data validation and reconciliation activities between Oracle HCM and ADP.
• Validate employee, assignment, compensation, payroll, and other relevant HR data.
• Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with business/technical teams for resolution.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and accuracy across integrated systems.

Integration & Technical Understanding

• Strong understanding of ADP-specific file formats such as CSV and XML.
• Experience with file transmission protocols such as SFTP.
• Understanding of payroll extracts and inbound/outbound data interfaces.
• Ability to analyze interface logs and identify functional root causes.
• Coordinate with technical teams for integration development and troubleshooting.

Functional Design & Requirements

• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Prepare functional design documents, process flows, test scenarios, and configuration documentation.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, parallel payroll testing, and production deployment activities.

ADP SmartCompliance

• Hands-on experience with ADP SmartCompliance is preferred.
• Understanding of payroll tax, wage garnishments, ACA/health compliance, and related processes.
• Support resolution of tax filing discrepancies and compliance-related issues.

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM / Payroll / ADP Payroll.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP Payroll integration.
• Expertise in at least one ADP platform: GlobalView, Workforce Now, Celergo, or Vantage HCM.
• Experience with ADP Global Integration (G2) or ADP Connector for Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Strong payroll data reconciliation and validation experience.
• Good understanding of CSV/XML, SFTP, and payroll extracts.
• Experience working with ADP as a vendor/implementation partner.
• Strong functional and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with ADP SmartCompliance.
• Oracle HCM Payroll/Core HR experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle HCM integrations, HDL, HCM Extracts, REST/SOAP APIs, or OIC.
• Experience with global/multi-country payroll implementations.
• Experience in payroll parallel testing and cutover activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a strong functional SME with hands-on Oracle HCM–ADP integration experience, capable of independently managing requirements, functional design, payroll reconciliation, integration troubleshooting, testing, and coordination with ADP and business stakeholders.
