Sutherland Global is seeking a skilled payroll professional based in Hyderabad, India, to manage end-to-end payroll cycles and ensure accuracy in salary processing, deductions, and bonuses. The role involves compliance with Indian labor laws and tax requirements, as well as coordinating with HR and finance teams.

Candidate should have 3–5+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with SAP, Workday, or ADP.

Job Description:

• Processing & Operations: Manage end-to-end payroll cycles, validate input data, and oversee salary, bonus, and deduction calculations.


• Compliance & Statutory Filing: Apply local tax rules, labor laws, and file periodic returns (such as PF, PT, and TDS in India).


• System Advisory & Implementation: Configure, test, and optimize payroll software platforms like SAP, Workday, or Dayforce.


• Audit & Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll accounts with general ledgers and resolve payment errors or discrepancies.


• Stakeholder Support: Answer employee and client queries regarding paychecks, taxes, and benefits

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.


• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on payroll processing, management, or system implementation experience.


• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and specialized payroll/HRIS software (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP).


• Knowledge: Strong grasp of statutory compliances, tax withholdings, and compensation structures.
