Job summary

Splash Business Intelligence is seeking a techno-functional Oracle Cloud BI expert in Hyderabad to design and deliver end-to-end analytics, dashboards and reports. You will collaborate with stakeholders, model data, and implement BI solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL and PL/SQL.

The role also involves mentoring junior staff, leading small teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years techno-functional experience in Oracle Cloud/EBS across SCM, Finance and Projects.
• Strong Oracle Cloud SCM/Finance knowledge and end-to-end business processes.
• Hands-on BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL and PL/SQL experience.
• Experience leading small project teams and mentoring junior resources.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, analyze solutions, and deliver scalable Oracle Cloud BI solutions.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities Includes the below listed but not limited to:

• Strong functional understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM and Finance business processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Inventory, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Projects.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, SMEs, and client teams to gather requirements, perform solution analysis, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical design documents, data models, reports, integrations, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and support BI Publisher Reports, OTBI Reports, SQL/PLSQL components, and Oracle Cloud reporting solutions.
• Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading activities using Oracle Cloud data models and integration frameworks.
• Participate in data pipeline concepts understanding for reporting, analytics, and downstream integrations.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud data models, subject areas, and transactional data flow across SCM and Financial modules.
• Support analytics and reporting initiatives by enabling business insights through dashboards, KPIs, OTBI, BI Publisher, and data analysis solutions.
• Optimize PL/SQL code and SQL queries to enhance performance and troubleshoot technical issues or discrepancies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, business users, and support teams during implementation and support phases.
• Lead small to medium-sized teams and mentor junior team members in technical and functional areas.
• Handle client communications independently and manage stakeholder expectations across business and IT teams.
• Conduct requirement workshops, status meetings, solution walkthroughs, and user training sessions.
• Participate in testing activities including SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, solution design documents, and support artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle Cloud best practices, coding standards, governance, and security guidelines.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• 8+ years of strong techno-functional experience in Oracle Cloud/EBS across SCM, Finance, and Projects modules.
• Strong functional expertise in Oracle SCM and Finance modules with good understanding of end-to-end business processes.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI Reports, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud data models, subject areas, and reporting architecture.
• Experience in understanding data pipeline concepts, data transformation, data migration, and integration processes.
• Knowledge of analytics, KPI reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence concepts.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of SQL/PLSQL code.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and database objects such as tables, views, indexes, sequences, and packages.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide effective techno-functional solutions.
• Experience in client handling, stakeholder management, and coordination with onsite/offshore teams.
• Experience leading small project teams and mentoring junior resources.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.

Preferred Experience and Education:

8+ years of strong techno functional experience on Oracle Cloud/EBS (SCM/FIN/Projects Modules), SQL, PLSQL, BI Publisher Reports, OTBI reports

Preferred:

• Techno-functional experience in Oracle Cloud SCM and Financial modules.
• Experience in analytics/reporting tools and enterprise reporting frameworks.
• Experience in Oracle Cloud SCM/Finance implementations with client‑facing responsibilities and team leadership experience
