Job summary

Smart Ims is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant in Bengaluru to lead end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and support for GL, AP, AR, FA, Expenses, and Cash Management. You will work with Finance, Accounting and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall Oracle ERP experience.
• 3+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, Expenses, and Cash Management.
• Experience with multi-ledger and multi-currency configurations.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution architecture, fit-gap analysis, and UAT.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership in large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementation, enhancements, and support.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Expenses, and Cash Management.
• Act as the primary functional consultant, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Design, configure, and optimize Oracle Fusion Financials to improve business processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Lead solution design workshops, perform gap analysis, and recommend Oracle best practices aligned with business objectives.
• Configure financial setups including multi-ledger, multi-currency, legal entities, chart of accounts, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting structures.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, user training, and hypercare support.
• Ensure seamless integration between Oracle Fusion Financials and other Oracle Cloud modules such as Procurement (P2P), HCM, Projects, and external systems.
• Design and develop financial reports, dashboards, and analytics using OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher (BIP).
• Support quarter-end Oracle Cloud updates by performing impact assessments, regression testing, and production deployments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements including SOX, IFRS, and GAAP.
• Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide sustainable solutions.
• Mentor junior functional consultants and provide functional leadership across implementation and support activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and external implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents, test scripts, user guides, and knowledge transfer documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of overall experience in Oracle ERP with 3+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations.
• Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud modules:

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Finance leaders, Controllers, CFOs, business users, and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a consultative approach.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring consultants, and driving ERP transformation initiatives.
• Oracle Cloud Financials Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud) or ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud) is an added advantage.
• Experience in large enterprise or global implementation environments is preferred.
