Job summary

Sass Innovations in Hyderabad, India is seeking an Oracle EBS/Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end implementations across SCM, FIN, and Projects modules. The role blends functional expertise with technical delivery, including BI Publisher, OTBI, and SQL/PL/SQL.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements into designs, mentor junior teammates, run workshops, and ensure adherence to Oracle best practices, governance, and security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of strong techno-functional experience in Oracle EBS/Cloud across SCM, FIN and Projects modules.
• Strong functional expertise in Oracle SCM and FIN modules with good understanding of end-to-end business processes.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI Reports, SQL & PL/SQL with analytics/reporting tools and enterprise reporting frameworks
• Experience in understanding data pipeline concepts, data transformation/migrations and integration processes.
• Knowledge of analytics, KPI reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence concepts.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of SQL/PLSQL code.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and database objects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, SMEs, and client teams to gather requirements, perform solution analysis, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical design documents, data models, reports, integrations, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and support BI Publisher Reports, SQL/PLSQL components, and Oracle reporting solutions.
• Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading activities using Oracle data models and integration frameworks.
• Participate in data pipeline concepts understanding for reporting, analytics, and downstream integrations.
• Support analytics and reporting initiatives by enabling business insights through dashboards, KPIs, OTBI, BI Publisher, and data analysis solutions.
• Lead small to medium-sized teams and mentor junior members in technical and functional areas.
• Handle client communications independently and manage expectations across business and IT teams.
• Conduct requirement workshops, status meetings, solution walkthroughs, and user training sessions.
• Participate in testing activities including SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, solution design documents, and support artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle Cloud best practices, coding standards, governance, and security guidelines.

Job Title: Oracle EBS/Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strong functional understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM and FIN business processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Inventory, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Projects.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, SMEs, and client teams to gather requirements, perform solution analysis, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical design documents, data models, reports, integrations, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and support BI Publisher Reports, SQL/PLSQL components, and Oracle reporting solutions.
• Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading activities using Oracle data models and integration frameworks.
• Participate in data pipeline concepts understanding for reporting, analytics, and downstream integrations.

• Strong understanding of Oracle data models, and transactional data flow across SCM and FIN modules.

• Optimize PL/SQL code and SQL queries to enhance performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, business users, and support teams during implementation and support phases.
